What Causes Delayed Periods With Pregnancy Test Negative?

hello doctor.....am 24 yrs old...i have pcod problem but i took treatment for tat.8 months back i got married.for 6 months i took novelon tablet for regular period later v planned for baby.now i missed my one month period.i took pregnacy test at home but it came negative ..so can i be a pregnat still?
