What Causes Delayed Periods With Spotting?

hi,i was wondering if you could answer a question for me. I had sex after ovulation at least i think.. my period was 3 days late and when it did come it was very light for one day and now all i have is brown spotting mostly when i wipe. Could i be pregnant?
