What Causes Delayed Periods?

I have a pregnancy question. I had my last period on Nov 16th after taking the plan B on October. I had sex on November while I had my period and after with protection. I still haven't got my period for December, last time I did a pregnancy check it was on 14th it said a Negative. I am really freaking out and I can barely sleep. Please help
