What Causes Delayed Periods?

i had SSG test on 4/15/2011(19th day with no contact) and then on 4/23/2011 i had my periods.Next my periods were due sometime in may-17. but still I have not got my periods. but i have the cramping pain similar as I get during my periods. coul you please let me know why this is happening to me?
