What Causes Depression Post Intake Of Trazodone Tablets?

I started taking Trazodone about one month ago and am feeling really depressed. It was prescribed for my sleep problems. I had been taking Temazapan for many years prior to starting this one. I have not consulted my doctor. I am thinking I need to give it a bit more time. Any thoughts?
