What Causes Dermatitis On Top Of Hands And Inside Of Forearms?

Hello, I am looking for a cause of a dermatitis (thats what the MD said) that I get every May - Aug only on the top of my hands and the inside of my forearms. Lots of little bumps. I use a topical steroid to help, but know one ever offered an idea of what the cause of it could be.
