Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was in an auto accident and my vehicle rolled onto its roof. I was upside down for five minutes before being removed from the vehicle. Three months later I had vision problems: fogginess, black pin points and floaters. It was evaluated that I had a detached retina that required surgery. I am 65 years old with prior cataract surgery. Is it possible to relate the detached retina to the auto accident?
