What Causes Diarrhea And Vomiting Along With Blood In Stool?

Hello. My son is 10 years old. He said that there was blood on the toilet paper when he wiped a few days ago. I told him to let me know if it happened anymore. He told me that he had diarrhea yesterday and there was some more blood that time also. He is very healthy and has a very good appetite but he throws up quite a bit without any other symptoms. Sometimes when he wakes up in the morning he throws up and sometimes when he is going to bed at night he jumps up and throws up. He hasn t lost any weight and he is a little over weight for his age. This is the first time he has told me that he has had blood in his stool and it is worrying me quite a bit. I am planning to call a doctor tomorrow for an appt. Thank you, Penny Dean YYYY@YYYY
