What Causes Diarrhea,vomiting And Stool From Vagina?

My mother is 54 years old. Last year she had developed infection in colon. This was found when she complained of high temperature, diarrhoea and vomiting. Sheunderwent fat removal surgery, ovaries and uterus removed. Now for the past one week, she is suffering from abdominal pain, bleeding with pus, and from today, stool from vagina. Our doctor has advised to take a CT scan to chk if there s a wrong connection. Please explain and is surgery needed?
