What Causes Difficulty Breathing And Hands Sweating?

Hello, my girlfriend has an eight year old boy that is telling her he has trouble breathing. She took him to get checked out, the hospital did an EKG and found nothing. He has no fever, says he is cold, hands sweating, so all we know to do is just keep him calm, lay him on his back, bend his knees. Just weird.
