What Causes Difficulty In Breathing Along With Rapid Heart Rate?

I get this loss of breath randomly when i breathe, then my heart beats really hard a few times when my breathing goes back to normal , i don't know what this is and it scares me , i keep thinking sometimes that when i go to sleep i'l never wake up . What can this be ?
