What Causes Difficulty In Breathing And Mucus In Throat?

It has been 7 or 8 months I have difficulty breath both in and out . I do not cough but I have clear mucus coming to my mouth from my throat. It is getting worse and I can hardly breath , Its like I have push air in and push it also out and takes too much energy . I take iron and ferrous as well and I eat fruit , not sure what is going on
