What Causes Difficulty In Breathing And Throat Obstruction Post Congestion?

I have been dealing with a cold sense the 1st of January. All the symptoms are gone now but for the last week I have had difficulty breathing I feel like there is something stuck in my throat. I have had a lot of mucus (sometimes green and others clear). Yesterday I went to the doctor and he looked at me for a max of 5 minutes (they were super busy) and said that he thinks I have bronchitis. He prescribed me a z pack. I took the two tablets last night and will take another tonight. I still feel like it is difficult to breath. I keep trying to get mucus out of my throat although today not much is coming up. And what is coming up is just clear bubbly. Should I be worried or just believe that the 5 min check the dr did was trustworthy
