What Causes Difficulty In Conceiving?

i want to make my life partner pregnant.i m trying since 5 months but did not get success.my question is how much time semen should remain in vagina to get pregnant,actually after intercourse my life partner wash her vagina, at that time semen comes out from vagina is that reason not to get pregnant??
