What Causes Difficulty In Getting Pregnancy In Women With Irregular Periods?

Hi, I am 29 yrs old. My periods are irregular for last 4-5 years.. Married for one year now and planning for a baby. Since the day I got married my periods didn t come naturally. With doctors advice I took meprate tablets to get my periods. But now I am afraid that if I can conceive with this irregular periods. I am not sure when I ovulate. My gynecologist advised me to take vacfol-folic acid tablet after breakfast and glycomet post dinner. I have been taking these tablets for 2 months now. But still I need to take meprate to get my periods. Pls suggest me what should I do if I want to conceive soon. Warm Regards
