What Causes Difficulty In Moving Wrist Post Tendon Surgery?

Severed the tendons in the top of my hand and my wrist I had emergency surgery and was put in a brace fingers at 20 degrees and wrist at 40 degrees for 6 weeks now currently without brace and can t bend my wrist forward or bend at the nucleus why can I lift my wrist but not bend or turn left or right.
