What Causes Difficulty In Swallowing Amlodipine Besylate Tablet?

I have been taking amlodipine besylate for HB. Lately, the pill is not easy to swallow; feels like it just won t go down with water and causes my throat to burn and no amount of extra water flushes it out. It is horrible feeling because the taste causes near vomiting and gags. This has been happening over the past three nights. I am nearly wanting to stop taking it. What say you about this? It is awful!!!! Thank you.
