What Causes Difficulty In Swallowing?

i have hypothyroidism..for a while now i have felt like i my throat is tight, and i have trouble swallowing..i had a few panic attacks and my regular MD put me on something for those he said those could cause u to feel like that. Well i still have that feeling and now its gotten worse in swallowing and its sore on my neck below my adams apple...its really scary
