What Causes Difficulty Swallowing Food?

I performed oral sex on my husband deeply two nights ago and ever since I have felt as if everytime I try to swallow my food after chewing it that it is not going down as normal...like its off to the right side too far and that I have to swallow three times to get it fully down...I developed a fever last night and a general flu like feeling all over as well.....I am hoping it is simply the flu that I am deeling with .....though not a soul around me seems to be sickly at all.... I have tried Google search regarding possible health risks associated with deep throating however have received very little info ...
