What Causes Difficulty Walking In A Person With TIA?

Ihad what was diagnosed as a tia or mini stoke about two and a half years ago. the MRI taken the next day re vealed-a small dot near the center but later consultation with a neurologist suggsted that no significant damage was done. However in the first few weeks following the tia I sensed an unsteadiness in my gait and was concerned about maybe faling. And even now I still feel like I lost something in my natural ability to walk normally. But since I am over 78 yrs old and have some degree of peripheral neuropathy accompanied by a moderate degree of osteoarthritis I feel that these conditions are to blame rather than the TIA?
