What Causes Discharge Of Brownish Black Blood?

I had some brownish black blood a couple days before my period then I started to bleed red for 7 days which was longer then normal. Now I have heavier brownish black blood and cramping. I am on my 14th. day of this. Not sure if I should see a doctor or not. What could this be?
