What Causes Discoloration Of Skin Spreading On Face?

Started out with a small discolored area on right cheek (I'm very fair and stay out of the sun). This area extended. Today another discolored are surfaced. My dr. saw the first one yesterday and said it looked like dermatitis. Right now my face feels flushed.
