What Causes Discolored Spots On The Upper Part Of The Body?

for a year know my body has been developing these white spots which is destroying the pigmentation all around my upper body. Majority of the discoloration is on my lower back and slowly moving up towards my shoulder blades. Does anyone know what this symptom might be???
