What Causes Discomfort And Pain In Testicle?

Just wondering what it was, sometimes driving down the road feel slight pain from it being there. From the small extra ball hanging around of course in the sack, had it checked out docter said was nothing,, but something hurts like that it should be a better answer than its nothing at all.
