What Causes Discomfort In Chest And Heart Palpitations While Having Asthma?

My boyfriend has been having trouble breathing, he's been wheezing at times and he has a weird feeling in his chest, today his heart beat was really fast and hard, I could feel it as a was hugging him, he has asthma and is 17 and really active please help I'm really worried about him
