What Causes Discomfort In Ears Along With Excessive Sweating?

I was in hospital and released yesterday for possible heart attack. I have afib with rapid and slow heart rhythms. No heart attack shown on tests (ekg and ultrasound). Dr. prescribed - 12 mg - and I woke up in the middle of night with strange ear feeling and sweating. Is this from medicine?
