What Causes Discomfort In Eyes Post Eye Surgery For Detached Retina?

I don't have a credit card at my disposal so can't pay right now. BUT, I do need an answer to my question. So, please waive the fee and I will take care of it in the immediate future. This is for a retina specialist.I had three procedures for my detached retina - laser, scleral buckle and vitrectomy. This was three weeks ago. I have been experiencing light disturbances when I squint my eye. It looks like a sparkler does - you know the things from July 4th celebrations. Should I be worried?
