What Causes Disorientation And Graying Of Eye Lashes?

I've been to the eye dr several times due to eyelashes growing in weird directions. Now I'm having eyelashes with tips that are whitish/cleanish in color and the tip growing squiggly. The bottom of the lash will be black. I've had to pull several of those lashes bc they irritate my eyes and vision.
