What Causes Dizziness And Blurred Vision?

I had to leave work the other day. My dizziness that had been on and off all day then also effected my vision which was blurry. I felt almost drunk. Then I went to sit down and my hands and legs started shaking uncontrollably. Then my vision started rolling into one. I was so scared I could hardly see anything. It improved over an hour. However my vision was still not in focus. I went to the emergency Dr he said my blood pressure was high. That I was very stressed over work and that it had magnified the remains of a virus Id been knocked out by over Christmas. Causing memory loss, Spinning room sensations, shooting pains up legs, dizziness and unbalance with extreme fatigue. I ve had all follow up procedures and tests etc as I was a cardiac query a heart murmer was heard by two different Drs possibly an effect of virus. A heart echo scan came back fine I m to wear a holter monitor soon as a follow up precaution soon. However what could be going on? Just a virus? Many thanks I plan to see Dr tomorrow .
