What Causes Dizziness And Fever Upon Using Tampon?

Yesterday and today I got dizzy and had a low grade fever, I took out my tampon and rested the remaining of the day ... Today I woke up fine ran some errands and put a new tampon in... I again felt dizzy and low grade fever (100.0) so I removed my tampon again. I feel a little better now.
