What Causes Dizziness And Left Sided Pain In Upper Chest?

A friend, 55 year old female, experiences lightheadedness - calls it fuzzy head - when she looks down. Other times she has commented on a pain in her upper left chest and noted that a vein in her hand area seems to pulse. Sometimes she describes a fluttering feeling in her upper left chest. Recently after a very long drive she encountered a police car with lights flashing. She reported feeling very dizzy and experienced an intense hot flash.
