What Causes Dizziness And Lightheadedness While Bending Down?

My husband is fine when laying down or standing, but when he starts to bend over he gets really dizzy and lightheaded to the point of falling down. this just started yesterday. would you have any idea what may be causing this. he has not been ill, but his allergies have been acting up pretty badly.
