What Causes Dizziness, Head Spinning And Sweating?

Hi. My boyfriend is suddenly experiencing dizzy spells, they last for approximately 3-5 minutes and he experiences room spins then sweats. HE then gets very tired. This has happened twice in the last 24 hours and he has never experienced this before. He gets very panicked when it happens.
