What Causes Dizziness When Sitting With Eyes Closed?

About one month ago I started having dizzy feeling only when I m sitting upright n closed my eyes now it s happening much more frequently and when I m rising from laying down or walking around not only when eyes are closed they last for a few seconds to approximately one minute and from one time to several a day.I had considered whether or not it could be contributed to by wearing magnification reading glasses of improper strenghth n came to conclusions that I would not wear anything to see if it was my glasses though but it continued and because it occurs evergreen I shut my eyes seems to lead me to believe otherwise. what type of doctor do you suggest I see..and is it possible for eye infections to play a role in dizziness?
