What Causes Dizziness While On Medication For High BP?

I have been getting extremely dizzy when I lay down and turn over and also at different times throughout the day. I currently take high blood pressure medicine with a diruetic in it and I am over weight bu probably 60 pounds or so. I am afraid of a occluded artery or something like that causing my dizziness. any ideas?
