What Causes Dizziness?

I am a 42 y/o women and for the past few months I have been experiencing unexplained bouts of dizziness or motion sickness. Primarily first thing in the morning and limited to a couple of days a week. My Dr. has recommended I take dramemine as needed but I m concerned about what is causing it.
