What Causes Dizzy Spells And Sharp Pain Above The Left Eye?

I have blood pressure. I am on meds for it. I have recently lost 23 lbs. yesterday, I suddenly felt my left eye drooping. Nothing else, grip good, no weakness anywhere else. BP was checked, 144/88. In the past week, I have experienced dizzy spells, lightheaded and sharp pain above the left eye. Was put on an antiviral and steroid to rule out virus. Could it be anything else?
