What Causes Dots On Buttocks?

my girlfriend has scars on her buttocks that look like dots, I think possibly from warts she had in her teen years that may have been frozen. Im not sure, she use to be very heavy overweight in her teen years and she said she had a lot of skin problems. What could it be?
