What Causes Double Vision Along With Dizziness?

My husband was watching tv after he woke up from a nap, he starting seeing double and got a bit dizzy, he thinks the dizziness was a bit of anxiety about seeing double. It only lasted for less than a minute. He had been reading alot before his nap and it has never happened before. Should we worry or wait to see if it happens again. Thank you
