What Causes Drainage At The Back Of Throat?

Im having drainage in the back of throat and find myself puking saliva usually after resting. Food is going down but I m not eating as much since my stomach is about pea size now lost 8 lbs in three days. Any clues or home self help would be nice. Thank You Scott
