What Causes Drastic Change In Personality Post Temporal Lobectomy?

my daughter age 32 had brain surgery in dec of 2013 at the Cleveland Clinic to remove part of the temporal and frontal lobe due to seizures. As of about 8-10 months ago her personality is so changed that she virtually hates and legally driving away everyone who was part of her support system. She is also type 1 diabetic. We have no where to turn as she believes that she is fine, she has small children we as grandparents were very involved with raising before her surgery now she is divorcing her husband and not allowing us into the childrens lives. What is happening here will this ever get better?
