What Causes Dried Blood In The Ear With Blood Blisters?

I am 4 days post-op, shorting after leaving the recovery room I discovered dried blood in one of my ears. My doctor has since looked at both ears, LT ear has a few pin head sized blood blisters and the RT ear is filled with dried blood to the point he was unable to see the eardrum. I have had a mild headache for the past 24 hrs on the RT side behind my eye and temple area.
