What Causes Dry And Peeling Skin Around The Penis?

Hi i am concerned and pretty embarassed to talk about this, but I am concerned about how my penis is looking right now. It used to look fine, healthy looking and now i see dry skin around it and i am able to peel it off a little but it still looks unhealthy..used up and i want to know how it happened..i take long baths and showers everyday and i was thinking perhaps b/c of so much contract of water it might make my skin of my penis dry up. i do shave the area as well. My testicles also have flakey skin. how can i get it back to how it used to look?
