What Causes Dry Blood Discharge From Vagina After Mirena Insertion?

Hi i had the mirena inserted yesterday after the insertion my vagina eas very vary dry, today while in the shower and trying to clean down there i felt a little discharge tissue (which i thought was toilet paper) as i tried puttin my fingers in to see if i felt the strings i came across what felt like luttle rocks. As i pulled my finger out the little rock came out... It looked like dry blod about the size of a pea and it smelled like copper, should i call my doctor?
