What Causes Dry, Scaly, Itchy Rash On One Side Of My Face?

Im 26, female, 5,5" and 12stone in weight.
Ive developed a dry scaly itchy rash on one side of my face, it doesnt spread anywhere else and ive had it for 4 months (as long as ive been redundant which makes me think its stress related...). Ive had diprobase and hydrocortisone which have not worked, but just yesterday i have developed sore red blotches on my lower legs, not itchy and at all similar to the one on my face but wonder if they are linked?
