What Causes Dryness And Discomfort In Left Eye Leading To A Black Eye?

Hi there. A couple of days ago my left eye felt like there was something in it and it also felt really dry. I had some discomfort in it like something was in it and dry but a few hours later it felt better. Now about two days later I ve niticed that I have a black eye that starts in the corner and just underneath the eye. I m really worried. Please help.
