What Causes Dryness And Peeling Of Lips While On Antibiotics?

I have had dry, peeling (sometimes sore) lips for months now. I thought it was the dry winter weather, but it has not cleared up this spring. I am constantly using lip balms & other skin creams. I am on antibiotics for recurrent bladder infections & I read that this may be the cause. If so, will this not clear up until I am off the antibiotics?
