What Causes Dull Pain Along With Itching Around The Anus?

Hello, Around 3or 4 months ago I had been diagnosed with small amount of shingles, which I took medication for. That seems to be ok , but about the time I started feeling some aches or small pain around my anus and or rectum. I thought it may have been shinle related? For a time I had a bubble form on the outside of my anus. I talked to my MD and he said was mostly a hemmeroid. It did go away at my surprise. I do nothave any pain while having a movement. I had my colon screening about a 11/2 year ago. the results were ok. Its is not a sharp pain sometimes it feels like a dull ache. really no itching. And it comes and goes. Can feel some when like sitting, but as I am working do not feel anything. Thanks,
