What Causes Dull Pain Around The Navel Region?

I have had a pain on my right side, about level with my navel, for about three days. it comes and goes, but is becoming more frequent. it s not excruciating, but a dull pain. Any ideas? I had gall bladder surgery about 16 months ago and it seems in the region of one of the incisions on the lower right side.
