What Causes Dull To Sharp Pain Between My Shoulder Blades?

I am a 58 year old woman. Stand 5 5 tall weigh 217lbs. For the past week I have had a dull to sharp pain between my shoulder blades. Feels like I cannot take a good deep breath. Also out of nowhere my face gets real red and I feel like I have a temperature. But it is normal.
